Description:
** If you experience sound delays, switch to the other streaming mode and back to the original (like: HD to SD and back to HD once it loads) **

** This was first released in November 2008 and was made on my old machine. Quality might be lower like in todays "standarts". Uploaded since the previous upload was removed. Myndflame looks the most thrustworthy for a re-upload (and one of the rare ones that let's me upload movies longer than 10 minutes and bigger than 200MB. ;D )**

Darkness II is a continuation of Darkness, my first big machinima. The quality of the first part is crap, so watch it at your own risk (currently not uploaded anywhere... Might re-upload it if thought neccessary).

Story:
Harandil, a member of the Kirin Tor was captured and held captive in the Dark Iron prison deep within Blackrock Mountain for unknown reasons. He refused the help of an unknown demon but after years of captivity he gave up and accepted a Blood pact with him. With the demons powers flowing trough him, he devestated the prison complex (thus exsausted it's full powers) and saved three other prisoners; one of them is an old friend, the paladin Varyon.
Each with his own reasons joined Harandil, who's goal it is to get more information about his captivity from General Angerforge.
Meanwhile the Blackrock Orcs, commanded by Rend Blackhand, are preparing themselfs for a massive assault on the Dwarven city as requested by Lord Victor Nefarius.

Special thanks to:
-Candace Holly (voice acting Alyana)
-Johan VÃÃÃÂ¥gstedt (voice acting Rend Blackhand)
-Mickey C from WoW Radio (voice acting most of the Dwarves)
-Everyone who participated in the project. Thank you!

It looked interesting and I liked the story line. However the sound seemed to be off about 3 seconds for me. Other than that you have my thumps up!

This is actually not my fault but the players. No idea why this happens but if you switch from one mode and back (like from HD to SD and back to HD) it fixes the issue for the whole duration of the movie... if lucky.

I really enjoyed this! Apart from the delay that sometimes made it a bit confusing at times.

The whole scene with Nefarion was badass. The torch bearer motif was not entirely original, but I like how you adapted it to the story. All in all, I'm glad to see the Dark Horde getting some screen time.

AND BRING ME A BARREL OF ALE!!! XD

Like I already said, its a player issue, the movie itself has no delay.

But thanks... Wait, which scene with Nefarion?

Nefarius, sorry. I've never raided those places XD

Maybe you could try re-uploading the video? I remember MF guys saying that fixes the problem..

If they say so... I might reupload it this evening then.

Nono, you've said it correctly. Lord Victor Nefarius is his human disguise and Nefarian is his dragonic name... I'm just wondering what was so special in that only scene that he was part of. ^^

I just thought he was voiced and portrayed really well, especially from the part where he offers the dragon guard for moral boost and onwards to his off-screen transformation that you can only witness in the menacing and reserved face of the guard - its villainry done right, and I could feel it even though I cant really explain right now. The whole scene is about the silence between words, about things unsaid and sights not shown, and that plays well with the duality of Nefarion himself.

The music could have started right at the end of Nef's last line as he is lifted in the air, and that would be far more epic.
