Well that's the exact same thing I've been trying to tell folks about, but no one would listen. 
We just need to be a bit more open to newcomers and, like wise, we need
newcomers to make more stuff constantly, because the "elites" with all
their advanced techniques and technology, take more time to release
their machinima. That's the biggest advantage to the newcomer, if they
can get past the "interesting storyline" wall of course.
