Great song! not sure what instrument made the rhythm, but it definatley characterized the song and made it sound somewhat mysterious. I can only imagine what a great vocal lyrics could go with this.

I've seen Cubase used before, it's a great tool for spinning out wonderfully elaborate music.
Also, this is pretty damn good music, I can't help but wonder what you're going to use it for....

Are any of the guitar tracks real? Or are they all generated? Only the one with heavy vibrato sounds real to me, but I wonder if that's something Cubase is able to cook up..
I won't comment much on the music itself because it's not really my genre, but for a programmed composition, the sound is quite elaborate and balanced. Good job.
