The devs have been hard at work finalizing our new video player just in time for the Illegal Danish 3 Prelude release and the results are in! The new player is full of win, boasting a more streamlined look with an interface that dissapears during playback, better sharing features, and a built in HD/SD button. Now you can share your videos anywhere.. in style!

I'm just getting a big black box - maybe it's Google Chrome acting up. Will try IE...
*edit* nope, same in IE. Hrmpf
Looking forward to seeing it though!

Try downloading the latest version of adobe flash player. It'll be tough watching movies if you can't see them!

Done, still just a black box. I'll watch it when I get home from work instead (Mac for the win)
Odd though - I can view videos from WCM, YouTube etc. etc. but Gameriot-videos always seem to break (not load) on my work laptop. What am I supposed to do with it then .. work?! pfft!

I like the new player. Something about it seems not very easy on the eyes, but that's probably just me.
In my opinion you should add the feature so it hides the mouse cursor when it hides the UI in the fullscreen mode, for example, what YouTube's does. It's a little annoying to move the mouse to the far right side to fully enjoy my Myndflame experience.

No, no, you misread it. I was saying that the mouse cursor should disappear along WITH the UI.

I agree with the not-easy-on-the-eyes comment in a way. I don't think the player goes along with the palette and "style" of buttons, boxes, etc. of the rest of the website. Such things as rounded edges, bevels, shading, etc. could be added (or in some places enhanced) for a cooler look. The yellowy green could definitely make an comeback somewhere in there. My personal suggestion would be to turn all red parts on the bottom half of the player into green, and probably "HD" as well so that the palette ties into the website better and the Myndflame logo has more punch (like it already does on the website).
In all other aspects it does look/work much more professionally than before. But I would suggest working a bit more on the graphics unless you are planning to revamp the design of the website itself to match the new style of the player.

Wait, rage is a person? When I read your response, I thought "colors rage" was some sort of special power that helps change color schemes swiftly... XD

Very nice new player. I like the fact that you can switch between HD/SD. I didn't realize that untill i read the article. It does seem like it runs smoother then your previous player. Good to see upgrades being implemented.
